Sanitary Sewer Interceptor

With the construction of the new Interstate 57 interchange at Bourbonnais Parkway, the Village of Bourbonnais is anticipating the growth of businesses along this new interchange. A new sanitary sewer interceptor is being constructed, approximately 4 miles in length, from the Kankakee River Metropolitan Agency to the new Interstate 57 interchange with Bourbonnais Parkway.

The Village authorized Tyson Engineering, Inc. to perform a complete evaluation, make recommendations and design the new sanitary sewer interceptor. Tyson Engineering is currently performing construction engineering services for the Village on this project.

The sanitary sewer interceptor ranges up to 30 feet in depth and is aligned to minimize impacts on vehicular traffic and adjacent property owners.
