For 87 years, more than 100 Illinois and Indiana communities have trusted Robinson Engineering to provide a full spectrum of engineering and related services, including standard civil engineering services in municipal water and transportation, as well as land surveying, environmental, water/wastewater operations, corrosion, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), mapping, and geotechnical drilling, engineering and material testing.

Robinson Engineering was founded as a one-man firm in 1937 by Raymond W. Robinson, PE in Harvey, IL
1958
The Robinson office moved to South Holland, IL
1962-1973
Incorporated as R.W. Robinson & Associates, Co. and Raymond W. Robinson, PE as Chairman & CEO
1973-1984
Verlon W. Braselton, PE guided Robinson through expansion of the company as Chairman & CEO
1984-2000
Edward A. Brink, PE continued Robinson on its track for growth and expansion as Chairman & CEO
1987
After growing to 60 employees, the company changed its name to Robinson Engineering, Ltd.
1999
Robinson established an office in Merrillville, IN
2000
Russ W. Prekwas, PE was named Chairman & CEO
2001
Robinson established an office in Frankfort, IL
2007
Award-winning wellness committee was founded
2011
Named as one of the Chicago Tribune's "Chicago's Top Workplaces"

Celebrated 75th Anniversary by completing 75 Community Service Giving Back projects in client communities
