South Holland - Public Works Building

The Village of South Holland redeveloped a 5.9-acre site for the construction of a new 45,000 SF Public Works Facility. Facility Improvements included administrative and staff offices, training facility, locker rooms, workout facilities and 33,000 SF warehouse. Public Works Facility and Salt Dome were included as part of the overall development, along with Phase I, II, III engineering for new parking lots, Public Works yard, and Stormwater management facility.

MWRD Stormwater Management, USACOE Wetland & IDOT Access Permit Authorization were also completed as part of the project. The result is an improved Public Works Facility with dedicated spaces and storage for the various public work disciplines, indoor parking for Village vehicles & snowplows, improved organization and efficiency for day-to-day operations, and improved salt storage and public works yard.
