Robinson Engineering Volunteers with The Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation to Handcraft Treasure Chests for Children Battling Pediatric Oncology.

We recently volunteered with The Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation to handcraft treasure chests for children battling pediatric oncology. The joy of picking out toys from a real, hand-crafted chest is truly magical. At Robinson Engineering, we encourage staff to volunteer in the communities we serve as municipal engineers. Robinson Staff members Randel Gann, Adam Glens, Tom Nagle and Bob Birlson helped construct three treasure chests for donations to this very worthy cause!

The foundation’s Treasure Chest Program allows cancer patients at 66 children’s cancer treatment centers to choose an age-appropriate toy as a reward for having the courage to undergo painful but necessary procedures. The goal is to have a Treasure Chest in all pediatric oncology facilities in the nation.
