Braselton & Brink Memorial Foundation Engineering Scholarships Winners
An Awards Dinner was held at Olympia Fields Country Club in Olympia Fields, Illinois on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 to honor the recipients of the Braselton & Brink Memorial Foundation engineering scholarships for the 2025-26 school year.
This year’s award winners, each pursuing Civil Engineering degrees, are Zachary Nelson, Illinois Institute of Technology; James Portwood, Lipscomb University, and Aiman Zainab, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
The recipients were chosen by the Foundation's Selection Committee: Mayor Don A. De Graff, South Holland, retired Mayor Edward J. Zabrocki, Mr. Russ W. Prekwas, Chairman of the Board, Robinson Engineering, Mr. Aaron E. Fundich, Chief Executive Officer, Robinson Engineering, and retired, former Robinson Engineering, President Mr. Christopher J. King.
About the Braselton & Brink Memorial Foundation:
The foundation offers scholarships to full-time undergraduate students pursuing college, university, or technical educations primarily in the field of civil engineering who have completed at least 25 credit hours and reside within 50 miles of a Robinson Engineering office. The not-for-profit corporation was formed in 1983 by the principals of Robinson Engineering, Ltd.
