Dyer Central Park

 

Overview

This project is going to convert 77 acres of an old farm field into a
municipally owned multi-use park including splash pad, miniature
golf, outdoor amphitheater (to seat approx. 1,000 people), soccer and
baseball fields, walking paths, gardens and sculpture walk, 4 parking
lots, and a Veterans Memorial

Scope

 

​• Preparing grading and drainage plans in order to accommodate
significant grade change, designing 6 new ponds, and preparing the
design for the amphitheater, veterans memorial and baseball complex

• Responsible for site construction observation and field layout

• Working with multiple contractors for the construction of the dugouts
and communicating & coordinating with various manufacturers of park
equipment to advise the Park Board of available options

• Green features: bio-swale for filtering storm water and permeable pavements or surfaces
